1. Who you’re dealing with

HearthReel is family entertainment: AI-generated short-form family drama (about 8–15 minutes per episode). Free previews appear on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Paid full episodes are sold on our own site, with a YouTube membership path where available.

Launch note: At initial launch, checkout is US-only on Njere L.L.C. We do not currently offer CAD / MichaelT checkout. When Canada checkout is enabled, the checkout page will identify MichaelT Enablement Consulting Inc. as the seller.

Purchases are for adults buying on behalf of their family. We do not put purchase prompts inside kids-aimed videos.

2. The products

Prices shown at checkout control (USD live at US launch; CAD prices apply when Canada checkout is enabled):

  • Single story: USD 2.99 (CAD 3.99 when CA rail is live)
  • Season pass: USD 11.99 (CAD 14.99 when CA rail is live)
  • Membership: USD 5.99/mo (CAD 7.99/mo when CA rail is live)
  • Gift a story: available as a gift purchase option

We never store your card data — Stripe / Mercury handle payment processing as shown at checkout.

3. Accounts & access

You need a valid email to purchase and access paid content. Keep your login details safe. You’re responsible for activity under your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized use.

Content licenses are for personal, non-commercial family viewing. You may not redistribute, re-upload, scrape, resell, or publicly perform our paid episodes without written permission.

4. Tone, safety & fiction

HearthReel content is aimed at a G / TV-G tone — safe for a 7-year-old watching with a grandparent.

Fiction disclaimer:
A fictional story. Any resemblance to real persons is coincidental.

Episodes may use AI-assisted imagery, music, voices, and scripts. Humans at the Studio own and approve what ships. Platform AI/synthetic labels (e.g. YouTube altered/synthetic content; Meta AI label) may appear where those platforms require them. See our AI Disclosure.

5. Acceptable use

Please don’t:

  • Use the service for anything illegal or harmful
  • Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt our site or systems
  • Share accounts in a way that circumvents paid access
  • Upload or request content that targets children under 13 with personal data collection (we don’t collect data on anyone under 13)
  • Impersonate the Studio or use dark-pattern-style messaging about our brand

Bot or automated Studio replies are signed as the Studio team — we don’t pretend to be someone else.

6. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. Short version: auto-approve within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked; after 7 days, fair-use discretion via support.

7. Privacy & cookies

See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice. We collect limited data (email, first name, country, purchase history, marketing consent flag). We do not sell personal information. We do not collect data on anyone under 13.

8. No dark patterns

We don’t use fake scarcity, misleading countdown timers, or hidden charges. Pricing and membership terms are stated clearly at checkout. Cancel membership through your account or by emailing support; we’ll confirm without friction.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Content is provided for entertainment. To the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • We don’t warrant uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or content.
  • Our total liability for a claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase in the 12 months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

10. Governing law & entity routing

  • Contracts with MichaelT Enablement Consulting Inc. (Canada and default non-US) are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and courts in British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your home province/country.
  • Purchases with Njere L.L.C. (United States) are under the laws of the state where Njere L.L.C. is formed (New York) as stated at checkout, and the courts of that state, subject to mandatory US consumer protections.
  • No US-via-Stripe-CA fallback unless Alex explicitly revives it. US payments go via Mercury (Njere); Canada via Stripe (MichaelT / STRIPE_CA).

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. For material changes to paid memberships, we’ll give reasonable notice where required by law.
