Why this page exists
HearthReel episodes are family drama shorts (about 8–15 minutes) made with modern creative tools, including AI. We want grandparents and parents to know what’s real, what’s assisted, and who’s accountable — in warm, clear language.
Tone: G / TV-G — safe for a 7-year-old with a grandparent.
Fiction disclaimer
A fictional story. Any resemblance to real persons is coincidental.
Characters, places, and events are invented for entertainment. We do not claim to depict real families, celebrities, athletes, or public figures. Our Compliance process avoids real trademarks, leagues, and celebrity likenesses in prompts and finished work (see trademark-avoid-list.txt for the internal scan list).

“AI-assisted” means tools help draft or produce; it does not mean the Studio abdicates judgment.
What humans own and approve
- Executive producer (Alex) and the Studio team decide what publishes.
- Humans review for family safety (G / TV-G), brand voice, and legal/compliance guardrails before release.
- The Studio is accountable for the finished episode you watch — tools don’t get a free pass.
- Paid products (single story, season pass, membership, gift a story) are licensed for personal family viewing under our Terms.

Purchase prompts are for adults on behalf of their family — not inside kids-aimed video content.
Platform AI / synthetic labels
Where platforms require disclosure of altered or synthetic media, we apply (or expect to apply) their labels, including for example:
- YouTube — altered or synthetic content labels as required
- Meta (Instagram / Facebook) — AI or synthetic content labels as required
Platform rules change; we follow the label requirements of each host. This page is our own plain-language disclosure in addition to those labels.
What we don’t do
- We don’t claim AI characters are real people.
- We don’t collect data on anyone under 13.
- We don’t use dark patterns or fake scarcity around AI “exclusives.”
- Bot or automated Studio replies are signed as the Studio team.
Privacy note
Watching free previews on third-party platforms is also subject to those platforms’ privacy policies. On our own site, we collect only email, first name, country, purchase history, and a marketing consent flag — see Privacy Policy. Cards are handled by Stripe; we never store card data.
